Mrs. Inez Smith

On August 13, 2024 God called Inez M. Heath Smith To be with him Inez was the oldest of 10 children. Born on December 7, 1951 to the late reverend Alwin J. Heath Sr. and Gertrude A. Heath. Inez was Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was educated in the Philadelphia school system. Graduating from John Bartram high school. Inez went on to community college majoring in business management. I know held this courier path for several years. She was also certified in computer operations. Was later employed at PCI Where she held a managing position for over 20 years. And her later years upon retiring she worked for. CSC WHERE SHE WAS EVENTS, SECURITY, AND GOT TO TRAVEL WITH HER FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM THE EAGLES. While working for CSC, she was able to see Obama be inaugurated on his first term. Auntie Nez as she was called by her nieces and nephews. Was raised up in the Baptist Church. She accepted Christ as her savior at a very young age she enjoyed singing on the choir. She was a member of Olive branch Baptist Church. And later joined St.Phillips baptist Church. her final church home for the past several years has been Fresh Start. Inez was a loving single mom to two beautiful daughters Nikki and Lena. She was also Mema to 6 grandchildren and GiGi to 5 great grands. Inez enjoyed painting, sewing, drawing and crocheting, and we must not forget cooking for her family. She enjoyed filling up her 55 gallon fish tank with new fish and have the grands and great grands figure out what was new in the tank. Inez loved the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She love to decorate the house and setting up her Christmas village that she set up every year complete with a motorized train set, and she affectionately enjoyed spending time with her family. She was proceeded in death by her father. Rev. Alwin Heath and her mother Gertrude Heath also brothers Raymond, David, and Terrence Heath. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, two daughters, Monique Heath, and Lena Heath grandkids Jazmin Heath, Montel Mason, Quincy Mason, Tyler Mason, Jordan Mason, Sherita Branch. Great grands Blessyng Heath, Zaria Jones, Zavion Jones, Azizz Hasson and Ezekiel Mason Sisters, Gertrude Hawkins (James Hawkins Sr.) Nannette Heath, Arlene Heath, and Rosa Sledge. Brothers, Alwin Heath Jr. and James Heath and a Host of nieces and nephews cousins and friends. May her legacy live on.
